The cooling tower (106) may include a heat conducting surface (202A), and one or more heat pipes in thermal communication with heat conducting surface (202A). The portable camera cooling attachment (104) may further include base housing (108). The base housing (108) may include an interior cavity (504). The interior cavity (504) may include cooling fan (506) and plurality of air ducts (602). The base housing (108) may further include an external dock (402A). The external dock (402A) may include slot (404A) providing an access to interior cavity (504), a coupling means attached with slot (404A), and connecting plate (702A) placed below slot (404A)."
