MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421015214 A) filed by Yashvi Dharmendra Shah; Jayesh Vishwakarma; Utkarsh Keshri; and Yash Tiwari, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, on March 1, 2024, for 'a portable neuro-stimulation adjustable headband device for migraine relief.'

Equipped with a vibration system comprising vibrators (102) strategically mounted on the inner periphery of the headband, the device targets multiple acupressure points on the head, offering effective migraine pain reduction. Powered by a versatile vibratory coin motor, the device allows adjustable vibration frequencies (1 Hz to 110 Hz) and durations (3 to 5 minutes) through a potentiometer. Noteworthy acupressure points include the third eye, sun points, heaven pillars, and temporal points."
