MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087573 A) filed by Kms Healthcare Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 21, 2023, for 'a process for preparing a stable emulsion of ivermectin.'
Inventor(s) include Muniyandithevar Ganesan.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a process for preparing a stable emulsion of Ivermectin. The obtained product is useful in the dermatological disorders such as rosacea. Specifically, the invention relates to improved and cost-effective process for the preparation of Ivermectin emulsion without the use of glycols and without subjecting the emulsion to controlled cooling temperature."
