MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441063262 A) filed by Dr. K. Geetha; and Dr. M. Veeraselvam, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, on Aug. 21, 2024, for 'a process of preparation of anti-mastitis cream and product thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a process of preparation of anti-mastitis cream for bovine mastitis. The preparation of the anti-mastitis cream comprises the preparation of nanocurcumin, the preparation of nanozinc oxide, the preparation of egg shell nanopowder, the preparation of aloe vera gel and the formulation of anti-mastitis cream by combining therapeutically effective amounts of nanocurcumin, nanozinc oxide, egg shell nanopowder and aloe vera gel. The present invention also discloses anti-mastitis cream for bovine mastitis."
