According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a process for preparing an herbal infusion beverage with cognitive-support properties. The process comprises drying Catharanthus roseus leaves, pulverizing the dried material, and subjecting the leaf powder to hydroethanolic extraction followed by filtration and concentration to obtain concentrated extract, which is converted into a water-soluble powder by spray-drying using maltodextrin as a carrier. A blended formulation is prepared by combining the Catharanthus roseus extract powder with dried and powdered whole aerial parts of Bacopa monnieri, leaves of Ginkgo biloba, chamomile flowers, peppermint leaves, stevia leaf, and fruit of black pepper under controlled humidity conditions to ensure uniform distribution. The blended mixture is filled into infusion-grade filter paper bags, heat-sealed, and stored under ambient conditions. The resulting infusion beverage is suitable for both hot-water infusion and cold-brew preparation and exhibits chemical stability for a period of at least 12 months."
