MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321083825 A) filed by Amity University Madhya Pradesh, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on Dec. 8, 2023, for 'a real-time system for sound classification using iot and deep learning approach and working method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Deepak Motwani; Rahul Choubey; Ayush Kumar; and Yaman Jain.

The application for the patent was published on June 20, under issue no. 25/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a real-time system for sound classification using IoT and deep learning approach and working method thereof. The invention pertains to the security needed for societal well-being. By converting the audio file into WAV format from any other format of the sound data, we can give the deep learning model an effective sound source, which will determine the deep learning model's exact prediction. In order to meet the requirements of the data on which the model is trained appropriately, the novel deep learning-based approach is proposed in the current work for a realistic assessment of the prediction of the sound identified by the model. The system delivers a warning notice to the dear using real-time sound classification."
