MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421034826 A) filed by Bajaj Auto Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on May 2, 2024, for 'a rear structure of a two-wheeled vehicle and a method of assembly thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a rear structure (200) of a two wheeled vehicle. The rear structure (200) comprises a vehicle's frame (100) having a head tube, a front frame portion extending rearwardly from the head tube, a rear frame portion (106) connected to the front frame portion, and a sub-frame assembly (202) comprising at least a rear handle (204). Further, the rear handle (204) is having a provision for mounting a plurality of sub-frame components. Moreover, the rear handle (204) is configured to be mounted on the rear frame portion (106) along with sub-frame components."
