MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005860 A) filed by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., New Delhi, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'a reinforcement assembly of a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Ruhi Thakur; S. Chandra; and Sai Krishna.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a reinforcement assembly comprising a front long member of a chassis of a vehicle. The front long member is formed by an inner long member that is coupled to an outer long member defining a receptacle therebetween. A reinforcement plate is arranged within the receptacle coupled to the inner long member. The reinforcement plate is an elongated member having a substantially inverted L shaped cross section, formed by a first portion extending along a lengthwise direction, coupled to the inner long member. A top portion extends away from an upper end of the first portion. The reinforcement assembly further comprises a bracket coupled to the top portion via the inner long member configured to support a battery pack of the vehicle."
