MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020582 A) filed by Maruti Suzuki India Limited, New Delhi, on March 19, 2024, for 'a reinforcement mounting structure for an electronic stability control unit with ease in assembly.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present subject matter discloses a reinforcement mounting structure (302) for an ESP. The reinforcement mounting structure (302) includes a plurality of clamping points (308) to clamp the ESP unit mounted on the reinforcement mounting structure (302). The reinforcement mounting structure (302) includes a plurality of mounting points (310) configured to detachably attach the reinforcement mounting structure (302) with a vehicle body. The plurality of mounting points (310) is configured to provide a rigidity and a section modulus to the plurality of clamping points (308) in a plurality of directions, characterized in that, the reinforcement mounting structure (302) comprises at least one other mounting point (310c), in a vicinity of a first clamping point (308a) providing the rigidity and the section modulus to the reinforcement mounting structure (302) in another direction. The reinforcement mounting structure (302) provides an ease in assembling with a vehicle body."
