MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421036064 A) filed by Anantved Research Labs Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on May 7, 2024, for 'a rolling apparatus for herbal smoking stickand a method of preparation thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Rajas Nitsure.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A Rolling Apparatus for Herbal Smoking Stick and A Method of Preparation Thereof A rolling apparatus (100) for herbal smoking stick (300) and the method of preparation thereof, wherein rolling apparatus (100) comprising of a Plate A (102), Plate B (104), Holes for CSK (106), M5 CSK (countersunk) screw (108), Dowel Pins (110), Holes for dowel pins (112), Guide Pin (114), a Base Plate C (116), Holes for guide pin (118), cylindrical cavity (120) and SS Pins (122); are assembled to form a central cavity (120) that allows rolling of the homogenised herbal blends to form an herbal smoking stick (300) with a through hole using a stepwise process; and further provides a hollow conical holder (200) to hold the smouldering smoking stick (300) and wherein the apparatus (100) is easy to assemble, convenient to use and portable; the smoking stick (300) is non-toxic, nicotine-free, non-addictive, herbal, medicinal, allowing continuous, controlled and even combustion; held using a holder (200) that allows the smoke to travel gradually thereby providing a finer, pleasant and comfortable smoking experience to the smoker."
