MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421004615 A) filed by Higgsfleet Innovations Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on Jan. 23, 2024, for 'a rotating disc food processor.'

Inventor(s) include Nandan Ravindra Gite.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A rotating disc food processor (100) is disclosed. The rotating disc food processor (100) comprises a holder (118) configured to hold a food object (124), and a disc (102) with an inner enabled cutting surface and outer surface. The disc (102) is placed fronting the holder (118) thereby forming a cutting zone (122) at the interface. The disc (102) rotates about an axis (x), and the inner surface comprises a radially extending channel (108) configured to house a slider (111) with inclined blades (112) at 180-O degrees to cut through objects (124). It also contains a depth blade (106) to make layer-by-layer cuts through object (124)."
