MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202423010434 A) filed by Meeraaitech Solutions Llp, Maharashtra, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'a self-defense stick.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A self-defense stick (100, 200) comprising; a stick (101, 201) configure and an internal side (101a) in order to provision to configure all ancillaries. Wherein an image recognition module (300) configure with said recognition module (103) and sensing module (105) and a distance module (500) configure with said image recognition module (300). Further, a direction module (900) configure with said image recognition module (300) and an aura-based module (400) configure with said multi direction image recognition module (300) and said controlling means (104). However, said controlling means (104) can activates a protection module (600) in order to activate a piezo sensor (601) and generates a protection signal (601a) for said user to alert and position said stick (101) into direction of said potential threatening object to positioned said stick (101) against said advancing potential threatening object towards said user in order to safeguard said user."
