MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511127267 A) filed by Graphic Era Deemed To Be University; and Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Dec. 16, 2025, for 'a sterile single-use mixing system for biopharmaceutical solutions.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention provides a sterile single-use mixing system (100) comprising a pre-sterilized flexible mixing chamber (101) supported within a rigid containment shell (102). A magnetic impeller (103) driven by an external motor (104) ensures uniform low-shear mixing. Sterile connectors (105), sensor ports (106), and a sampling line (107) enable aseptic fluid transfer, real-time monitoring, and closed sampling. The system eliminates cleaning requirements, reduces contamination risks, and ensures consistent preparation of biopharmaceutical solutions."
