MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055610 A) filed by J. C. Bamford Excavators Limited, Uttoxeter, U.K., on June 9, for 'a storage system for a gaseous fuel.'
Inventor(s) include Freethy, Thomas; and Sproston, Joseph.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a working machine comprising: a ground engaging structure for providing propulsion over a ground surface; a chassis mounted to the ground engaging structure; an operator cab mounted to the chassis; a gas engine for providing propulsive power to the ground engaging structure; at least one storage tank for storing gaseous fuel for the gas engine; and, a purge valve for removing gaseous fuel from the at least one storage tank."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 29, 2023, under International application No.PCT/GB2023/053082.
