MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202321088408 A) filed by Higgsfleet Innovations Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 23, 2023, for 'a stove knob for indicating on-state, a high flame state and an off-state.'
Inventor(s) include Nandan Ravindra Gite.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A knob (100) for controlling gas flow in a gas stove is disclosed, comprising: a base (102) and a knob lever (104). The knob lever (104) rotatably enabled on the top plane of the base (102), the knob lever (104) having a cavity (106) in a parallelogram shape and a window (202) on a top surface of the knob lever (104). The parallelogram shaped cavity (106) is configured to house a sliding indicator slab (300). The sliding indicator slab (300) is rectangular in shape and configured to slide within the parallelogram shaped cavity (106) based on an angular rotation of the knob lever (104) between a high flame state, an on-state, and an off-state. The sliding indicator slab (300) has a first colored region (300a) and a second colored region (300b)."
