MUMBAI, India, Dec. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511085070 A) filed by National Institute Of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, on Sept. 8, for 'a structured case study teaching tool aligned with bloom taxonomy.'

The DIALER steps are aligned with Bloom's Taxonomy levels to promote higher-order thinking skills development through case-based learning. The Debrief step (102) establishes foundational knowledge corresponding to Remembering and Understanding levels. The Initiate step (104) encourages application of concepts corresponding to the Applying level. The Apply step (106) supports analysis of case studies corresponding to Applying and Analyzing levels. The Lead step (108) promotes critical thinking and evaluation corresponding to Analyzing and Evaluating levels. The Engage step (110) fosters creativity and synthesis of ideas corresponding to the Creating level. The Reflect step (112) encourages metacognitive awareness and evaluation corresponding to Evaluating and Creating levels."
