Inventor(s) include Ajay Ramdas Padole.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a system (100) and a method (200) of thermochemical decomposition of un-segregated municipal solid waste. The system (100) comprises a shredder to remove larger-sized components from the waste, a rotary drum dryer to remove excess moisture from the shredded waste, a hopper and feeder mechanism (101) with a screening arrangement and supplies feedstock continuously to a reactor (102), the reactor (102) to provide a space for pyrolysis of the waste entered therewithin, an arrangement for heating (103) to increase the temperature of the reactor (102), a cyclone separator (104) with a plurality of stages to separate dust particles from the volatile gases to generate syngas, a condenser (105) with a plurality of stages to cool and condense vapors to generate pyrolysis oil, and a control system to facilitate remote monitoring and automation of the system (100). The method (200) significantly reduces oxygenates, improving the energy content of syngas."
