Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'A System And Method For Interference Fitting Of Barrel With Barrel Extension/Body Using Hydraulic Force' Filed by Small Arms Factory

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019298 A) filed by Small Arms Factory, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'a system and method for interference fitting of barrel with barrel extension/body using hydraulic force.'

Inventor(s) include Aniruddha Kumar Verma.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and method for interference fitting of Barrel with Barrel Extension/Body using hydraulic force.
