MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517098346 A) filed by Matrix Muscle Support Ab, Solna, Sweden, on Oct. 13, for 'a system comprising a controller and an electrical stimulation system.'
Inventor(s) include Ackermann, Paul Wilhelm; and Juthberg, Robin Assar.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides for a controller and method for providing signalling to an ES system to operate an electrode array in a detection mode, to cause the ES system to provide a plurality of electrical parameter detection bursts, wherein each electrical parameter detection burst is configured to not provide for muscular stimulation; and detect one or more detection parameters indicative of the degree of movement of the muscle associated with each electrical parameter detection burst, wherein each electrical parameter detection burst is provided by applying a potential difference between different pairs of the plurality of electrodes, wherein the controller is configured to calculate the electrical parameter between each pair of detection electrodes based on the one or more detection parameters. The disclosure also relates to an associated electrical stimulation system and a computer readable medium."
The patent application was internationally filed on Mar. 19, 2024, under International application No.PCT/SE2024/050249.
