MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421006004 A) filed by Higgsfleet Innovations Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'a system for guiding a driver and method thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Nandan Ravindra Gite.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) for guiding drivers is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a video imaging device (Vd), an infrared imaging device (Id), a memory (102), and a processor (104). The devices (Vd) and (Id) are mounted on a vehicle (V) travelling a route. Device (Vd) captures real-time visible spectrum images and device (Id) captures infrared images of vehicle (V) surroundings. Memory (102) stores programmed instructions executed by processor (104) to: receive and process captured visible and infrared image streams to identify potential dynamic hurdles; access a remote cloud server (S) maintaining databases of static hurdle GPS coordinates associated with routes; compare vehicle (V) real-time coordinates with stored static hurdle coordinates to determine proximity; and generate audio-visual warning animations projected inside vehicle (V) based on identified dynamic and nearby static hurdles to guide driver and avoid accidents."
