MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511125099 A) filed by Swami Rama Himalayan University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'a system for integrating ai-enabled sleep tracking with traditional yoga practices to regulate sleep patterns.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention relates to a system in the field of sleep monitoring and wellness, integrating biometric data acquisition through a sensor assembly with an accelerometer, an optical heart rate sensor, and a respiration monitor. The acquired data is wirelessly transmitted via a communication module to an AI analytics engine that utilizes machine learning to identify sleep stages and detect disturbances. A personalized sleep plan generator uses this analysis, while a yoga practice integration module selects and presents tailored yoga routines through interactive instructions, coordinating with a display module for visual, audio, and textual outputs. This combination of AI-enabled tracking and traditional yoga practices provides users with adaptive sleep regulation and holistic wellness solutions."
