MUMBAI, India, Dec. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102867 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 25, for 'a system for predicting employee attrition.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Suresh Kumar; Dr. Shailesh Kumar Singh; Dr. Alok Jain; and Dr. Rajesh Verma.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for predicting employee attrition, comprises of a data processing module 101 configured to receive and preprocess employee-related data including job satisfaction, salary, and career development attributes, a stacked classifier model 102 configured to integrate multiple machine learning protocols to generate ensemble-based attrition predictions, and an explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) module 103 operatively coupled with the stacked classifier model 102, the XAI module 103 being configured to interpret and explain the decision-making process of the model 102 to identify key factors influencing employee attrition."
