MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311080328 A) filed by Havells India Ltd., Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 27, 2023, for 'a system for thermal management.'

Inventor(s) include Ahammed Shemeer MC; Aritras Roy; and Gaurav Sardal.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present subject matter disclosed herein relates to a system (200) for thermal management based on directing airflow from a centralized fan. The system (200) comprises a multi-path duct (201), a centralized fan (202) in the multi-path duct to draw air from outside into the multi-path duct (201), an airflow splitter (300) mounted behind the centralized fan (202) within the multi-path duct (201) to split the drawn air towards a plurality of paths (203a, 203b, 203c) in the multi-path duct (201) and a plurality of diverters (400) mounted between the airflow splitter (300) and an entry of each path of the plurality of paths to the guide the air towards the multiple paths."
