Laterpe Technologies Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 15, for 'a transaction burst energy controlled digital payment notification device employing lithium titanate battery architecture.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a transaction notification device is disclosed. The device comprises a lithium titanate battery, a lithium titanate specific battery management system, a charging circuit, a transaction burst energy controller, an intermediate energy buffer, a control circuit, an audio playback subsystem, and a trigger interface configured to receive a payment confirmation signal. Energy is discharged predominantly during transaction triggered audio playback events, while the intermediate energy buffer supplies peak playback current and is replenished between transactions. The transaction burst energy controller dynamically adjusts charging current, recharge timing, wake window duration, and audio parameters based on detected and predicted transaction frequency."
