MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411029770 A) filed by Havells India Limited, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 12, 2024, for 'a tripping actuation arrangement for an actuator assembly of a molded case circuit breaker.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein is a tripping actuation arrangement [200] for an actuator assembly [112] of an MCCB [100], comprising at least one trip actuation arm [202] defines a tripping accessory engagement portion [204f, 206f], and a trip bar engagement portion [204h, 206h]. Notably, upon engagement of the tripping accessory engagement portion [204f, 206f] with at least one tripping accessory, the at least one trip actuation arm [202] is resiliently and slidably adjusted relative to the at least one of the pair of side frame members [124], enabling engagement of the trip bar engagement portion [204h, 206h] with the trip bar [122], thereby causing tripping of the MCCB [100]."
