MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411028453 A) filed by Droame Llp, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 6, 2024, for 'a winch mechanism for an unmanned aerial vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Mridul Natani; and Kushal Natani.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention envisage a winch mechanism (200) for an unmanned aerial vehicle (100) comprising; a winch mechanism (200) configure with an unmanned aerial vehicle (100). Wherein a case (203) configure with said winch mechanism (200) and said unmanned aerial vehicle (100) and a drum (201) configure with said case (203) and a shaft (209). Further, a gear (204) configure with said drum (201) and said shaft (209) and a gear (205) configure with said gear (204) and a shaft (210). Furthermore, a screw (206) configure with said shaft (210) and a gear (207) configure with said screw (206). Whereas a motor (201) configure with said gear (207) and a shaft (208). However, said configuration of said screw (206) and said gear (207) with configuration of said gear pair (204, 205) formulates a passive and self-locking configuration for said winch mechanism (200)."
