MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611009063 A) filed by Puneet Sharma; and Rashi Sharma, Jalandhar, Punjab, on Jan. 29, for 'a wireless visual geo-referencing and object coordinate determination system field of the invention.'

Inventor(s) include Puneet Sharma; and Rashi Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a wireless visual geo-referencing and object coordinate determination system (100) for real-time identification of geographical coordinates of remotely viewed objects. The system comprises a movable camera-lens unit (101) integrated with an embedded processor (102) pre-coded with geo-coordinate data and a wireless communication module (103). Real-time visuals captured by the camera-lens unit (101) are transmitted to a display and interaction device (104). Upon selection of an object on the displayed image, the embedded processor (102) computes exact geo-coordinates of the selected object based on lens position and object location within the visual frame. The calculated coordinates are automatically stored in a memory unit (106) and simultaneously displayed and synchronized across multiple devices (107). The system dynamically updates coordinates during camera movement, providing accurate, real-time object-level geo-referencing without post-processing."
