MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517048036 A) filed by Unicharm Corporation, Ehime, Japan, on May 19, for 'absorbent article.'
Inventor(s) include Nanaumi, Hisataka; and Iwamoto, Makiko.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an absorbent article wherein nattokinase is not readily affected by a low-viscosity liquid, demonstrates superior action against blood clots, and does not readily act on skin. An absorbent article according to the present disclosure has the following configuration. An absorbent article that is provided with a functional composition, said functional composition including a functional substance (A) that includes nattokinase and has a function of inhibiting a factor that contributes to blood coagulation, and a water-soluble polymer (B), said absorbent article being characterized in that at least a portion of the nattokinase is not bonded to the water-soluble polymer (B)."
