MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527036663 A) filed by Mitsubishi Electric Mobility Corporation, Tokyo, on April 16, for 'ac motor control device and electric power steering device.'

Inventor(s) include Mori Tatsuya; Yamamoto Munenori; Toda Taizo; Numakura Akio; and Matsushita Masaki.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This AC motor control device comprises: a current detector; a first coordinate converter that converts a detection current before conversion, which is the detection result detected by the current detector, into a two-axis detection current which is a current on two rotating axes; a two-axis current filter that reduces the noise component of the two-axis detection current; a second coordinate converter that converts the filtered two-axis current into a filtered three-phase current in a stationary coordinate system; a first controller that generates a first three-phase voltage command on the basis of the two-axis detection current or the filtered two-axis current; a second controller that generates a second three-phase voltage command on the basis of the filtered three-phase current; and an inverter that applies a voltage to an AC motor on the basis of the first and second three-phase voltage commands."

The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 28, 2022, under International application No.PCT/JP2022/040280.
