MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013494 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'adaptable accessories cleaning device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable accessories cleaning device comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface. motorized lid 2 gets opened for allowing a user to position the accessory item that is to be cleaned. An artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 integrated with a processor for capturing and processing multiple images. inductive proximity sensor for determining metallic or non-metallic nature of the accessory in accordance with which the microcontroller scrutinizes the database for determining appropriate reagents for cleaning the accessory. multi-sectioned chamber 5 connected with an electronically controlled nozzle 6 microcontroller to dispense the appropriate cleaning reagents, along with a pair of vibrating unit 7 for generating turbulence. color sensor synced with the imaging unit 4 for monitoring deposition of dust/dirt/stain on the item, a brush 8 for cleaning tough stains/dirt on the item and an electronically controlled valve 10 for extracting water."
