MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024034 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'adaptable cement-blocks joining assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sapna S; and Dr. Shubham Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable cement-blocks joining assistive device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, a microphone 2 to provide input voice commands regarding a user-desired direction for positioning platform 1 in proximity to a pair of cement-blocks that are to be joined, multiple wheels 3 moves platform 1 over surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on platform 1 determines distance of blocks from platform 1, a robotic gripper 5 grips a blocks to position gripped block on platform 1, an electronically controlled nozzle 6 integrated on platform 1 by means of a telescopically operated link 7 dispense an adhesive one end of block via a conduit, a motorized rotatable brush 8 arranged on link 7 spreads dispensed solution on block, and a robotic arm 9 integrated on platform 1 grips a meshed sheet from tray 10 arranged on the platform 1."
