MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025982 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adaptable container holding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable container holding device, comprises of an extendable frame 1 configured with plurality of motorized tri-wheels 2 to maneuver the frame 1 in multiple directions, a telescopically operated handle 3 for carrying the frame 1 in accordance to their requirement, an artificial intelligence-based image capturing unit 4 for detecting height of the user, an extendable platform 5 for appropriately supporting the container, a motorized hinge 6 to extend/retract for adjusting in accordance to the container, a pair of motorized clamping units 7 for providing appropriate transfer of the container to user desired location."
