MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024879 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'adaptable cooking assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable cooking assistive device, comprising an elongated body 1 having a proximal and distal end having a handle that is accessed by a user for acquiring a grip on body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 determines positioning of distal end with a cooking vessel, a vertical rod 4 is integrated at distal end by means of a motorized hinge joint 5 to tilt rod 4, an extendable L-shaped plate 6 having motorized clipper 7 grip upper portion of vessel to uplift vessel, a motorized ball and socket joint 8 provide an angular movement to plate 6 for stirring vessel, a disc 9 integrated with an expandable pulley arrangement for covering of vessel, two motorized grippers 10, each integrated with a suction unit acquire grip on a fixed surface, a motorized pivot joint provide angular movement to vessel for tilting vessel."
