MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023128 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'adaptable display-protection assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable display-protection assistive device, comprises of a pair, of U-shaped frames 1 positioned in opposing directions, a rubberized layer for preventing the display unit from scratches and scuffs, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing and processing multiple images in vicinity of the frame, a drawer arrangement 3 for increasing/decreasing dimensions of the frames 1, a pair of electromagnetic springs 4 to extend/retract for enabling the user in arranging the frames 1 on periphery of the display unit, plurality of suction units 5 for adhering to the periphery of the display unit, motorized hinge 7 to provide converging/diverging movement to the bars 6, plurality of telescopically operated bars 6 to extend/retract for redirecting the rays."
