MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024076 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'adaptable emergency road-assistance device.'
Inventor(s) include Azeem Rizvi; and Dr. Neha Pathak.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable emergency road-assistance device, comprising a frame 1 having a pair of U-shaped members 2 overlapped over each other and positioned on a ground surface underneath a vehicle, a pair of telescopically operated L-shaped rod 4 extend/retract for positioning a suction unit 5 near chassis to adhere to chassis, an ultrasonic sensor determines depth of pot-hole, two motorized sliding units 7 provide a downward translation to frame 1 for positioning members 2 in pot-hole, a drawer arrangement extends/retracts for increasing/decreasing dimensions of frame 1, a friction sensor detects frictional force applied on plate, plurality of telescopically operated pins 9 extend/retract for positioning in between threads of tire for securing tires on plates 8, a hydraulic actuator 10 applies pushing force on lower frame 1 for lifting upper frame 1 such that stuck tire also elevated with frame 1."
