MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020762 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adaptable eyelash-extension application assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable eyelash-extension application assistive device, comprising an elongated frame 1 having a proximal end 2 and a distal end 3, pair of rods for connecting ends, handle 4 accessed by user to position the frame 1 near the user's eye, AI based imaging unit 5 determines dimension of the user's eye, transparent lid for covering the user's eye, microphone 6 for enabling the user to provide input voice specifications regarding an operation that the user desire to be formed on the user's eye, chamber 8 for storing adhesive, electronically controlled nozzle 7 for dispensing nozzle 7 on the user's eyelids, telescopically operated link 9 to apply adhesive on the user's eyelids, robotic gripper 10 to paste extension of user's eyelids, motorized sliding unit 13 to translate plates 12 towards each other for assisting in eyelash extension curling."
