MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013339 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'adaptable farmland preparation device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable farmland preparation device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a touch display panel 2 accessed by a user for providing input regarding dimension of rows to be prepared on the surface, an AI-based imaging unit 3 for capturing multiple images, plurality of spades 4 for tilting of the surface, a tactile sensor for monitoring hardness of the surface, a motorized sliding unit 6 for translating links 5 as per the user-specified dimensions, a motorized pivot joint for providing angular movement to the spades 4 against the surface, a pair of telescopically operated L-shaped links 7 for extending to place a conical structure 8 in contact with the surface an angle sensor for monitoring angle of structure 8 with respect to surface and a pair of track wheels 9 for moving the body 1 along evaluated coordinates for preparation of crests and troughs."
