MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018882 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adaptable food item grilling device.'
Inventor(s) include Ratish Sharma; and Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable food item grilling device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, multiple rods 2 attached on top portion of body 1 to form a grill that is configured with multiple U-shaped members 3, each integrated with multiple sharp-edges bars 4 accessed by user for engaging food items which are to be grilled, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 installed on body 1 for determining kind of engaged food items, a color sensor installed on body 1 for detecting color of the food items while food items is being cooked, an optical sensor installed on body 1 for determining quantity of debris particles released from coal towards grill, a perforated flap 7 installed on lateral side of body 1, underneath grill to prevent exposure of debris with food items."
