MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012446 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'adaptable forest vehicle protection device.'

Inventor(s) include Sanjeet Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable forest vehicle protection device, comprises of a frame 1 having a pair of telescopically operated rods 2 positioned around windshield of a forest vehicle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 to determine dimension of the vehicle's windshield, a pair of extendable L-shaped bars 4 to cover front portion of the vehicle, a color sensor to detect color of the vehicle's surrounding, a microcontroller to evaluate a similar pattern for camouflaging the vehicle, a roller to unwrap a flexible sheet 6 which is deployed over front portion of the vehicle via a pair of motorized clamps 7 and a color changing fabric to depict the evaluated pattern on the deployed sheet 6 for camouflaging the vehicle."
