MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019218 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'adaptable hair dryer management assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mohanty.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable hair dryer management assistive device, comprising a rectangular body 101 developed to be positioned on a vertical support, an imaging unit 102 integrated in the body 101 to determine dimensions of a hair dryer, a microphone 103 integrated in the body 101 for enabling a user to provide input voice commands, a semicircular frame 104 having plurality of plates integrated with plurality of motorized hinge joints for providing converging/diverging movement to the plates for tilting the frame 104, a pair of C-shaped plates 105 arranged with the body 101 integrated with a drawer arrangement to increase/decrease dimensions of the plates 105, an extendable L-shaped link 106 installed on the body 101 for extending to positon over main switch associated with the dryer, a two-axis lead screw arrangement 107 integrated in between the frame 104 and body 101 to provide translation to the hair dryer for drying user's hairs."
