MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025557 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adaptable milk quality inspection device.'
Inventor(s) include Alpana Joshi; Sahdev Singh; Shivani Sharma; and Vikas Yadav.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable milk quality inspection device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, the body 1 is arranged with a hopper 2 that is accessed by a user for filling milk in the hopper 2, a sensing module installed in the hopper 2 for monitoring parameters including pH, viscosity, lactose level of the accommodated milk, in according to which a quality of the milk is evaluated, a T-shaped hollow rod 3 is integrated under the hopper 2 and secured with an electronically controlled first valve that is actuated to dispense milk from the hopper 2 into the rod 3, and a pair of containers 4 arranged in the body 1, under the hopper 2 and connected with the rod 3 by means of an electronically controlled second and third ( 5, 6 ) for allowing dispensing of milk in containers 4 in a segregated manner."
