MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022832 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'adaptable molten metal pouring device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable molten metal pouring device, comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface in proximity to a mold into which molten metal is to be poured, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the body 1 to determine dimensions of the mold, plurality of electronically controlled nozzles 3 arranged at front portion of the body 1 to dispense an evaluated amount of molten metal from the body 1 into different portion of the mold, plurality of motorized hinges 4 integrated on the nozzles 3 to tilt portions of the nozzles 3 for orienting the nozzles 3 at an optimum angle with respect to the mold in view of allowing efficient filling of the molten metal in the mold and plurality of motorized wheels 5 arranged underneath the body 1 for supporting the body 1 on the surface."
