MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024708 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'adaptable painting assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Dharmendra Singh Tomar; and Neeraj Chaurasia.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable painting assistive device, comprising an elongated body 1 having a first end 2 and second end, a conduit 4 that is accessed by a user for dipping the conduit 4 in a paint filled container, motorized clamp 5 for engaging a paint brush with the body 1, touch interactive display panel 6 is accessed by a user for providing input regarding details of painting to be performed by user, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 7 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body 1 in order to determine presence of the user-specified surface, a vacuum pump 8 to pump paint from the container, rotatable electronically controlled sprinkler 9 to dispense the pumped paint from the conduit 4 and a motorized ball and socket joint 10 provide angular movement to the clamp 5 in a required direction for regulating movement of gripped brush."
