MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011209 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'adaptable patterned floor tiles layering device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyadarshi Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable patterned floor tiles layering device, comprising a body 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 102 that is accessed by a user for selecting a pattern of tiles to be layered on the surface along with area on the surface, a chamber 103 arranged inside body 101 and integrated with a motorized roller 104 coiled with a tile coupling mat, the roller to rotate for unwrapping the mat that is dispensed outside chamber 103 via a slit carved on the chamber 103, a platform 105 arranged inside body 101 for accommodating the dispensed mat on platform 105, an imaging unit 106 is installed in body 101 and integrated with a processor to determine dimensions of accommodated mat, plurality of motorized clippers 107 arranged on the platform 105 to acquire a grip on accommodated mat for stabilizing the mat on platform 105."
