MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024067 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'adaptable ploughing assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Satish Chand; and Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable ploughing assistive device, comprises of an elongated T-shaped body 1 having a proximal and distal end, a pair of cushioned handle 2 is accessed by a user to position the distal end in proximity to a ground surface of a garden, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 to determine distance of the surface from the distal end, a hydraulic actuator to extend/retract for increasing/decreasing dimensions of the body 1, an ultrasonic sensor to detect presence of debris on the surface, a robotic arm 6 to grab the detected debris from the surface for positioning the debris in a waste chamber 4, and a motorized sliding unit 3 to provide downward translation to a motorized roller 11 integrated on the sliding unit 3 for positioning the roller 11 in proximity."
