MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005470 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'adaptable protection gear for shielding from venomous bites.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable protection gear for shielding from venomous bites, comprising a wearable body 1 accommodate by a user over feet, an inlet 2 crafted on the body 1 to insert the user's feet inside the body 1, an inflating unit integrated within the body 1 for inflating a member to accommodate the feet inside the body 1, a thermal camera 3 arranged on the body 1 for capturing thermal images of surroundings of body 1, a vibration unit 4 installed on the body 1 for generating vibrations to notify the user from reptile, an ultrasonic sensor installed on the body 1 for detecting distance between the reptile and body 1, an electronic nozzle 5 arranged on the body 1 for dispensing repellent solution on the reptile to deflect reptile, a speaker 8 to notify the user regarding the mismatched parameters and an iris lid 7 to allow refilling of chamber."
