MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019356 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'adaptable resistor lead bending assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manojit Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable resistor lead bending assistive device, comprising a plate 101 developed to be positioned on fixed surface, suction cups 102 for affixing the plate 101 with surface, V-shaped member 103 having multiple horizontal grooves for accommodating multiple resistors leads, a display panel for enabling the user to input details regarding a total number of leads along with their type that the user desires to position over plate 101 for bending the leads, sliding arrangement 104 for creating an ample amount of gaping in between the grooves, an image capturing module for capturing multiple images of the user, laser projection unit for highlighting a best suitable gaping within grooves, a capacitance sensor to detect type of material of end cap of leads,, robotic arms 105 to extend for positioning clamp 106 in contact with end cap."
