MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023514 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 25, 2024, for 'adaptable secured-area entry assistive system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable secured-area entry assistive system, comprising a cuboidal body 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, plurality of suction cups 2 adheres to the surface, a microphone 3 is accessed by a user to provide input specifications regarding an operation to be performed, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determines height of an individual in proximity to the body 1, a U-shaped expandable member 5 enables the individual to position the individual's wrist on the member 5, an ultrasonic sensor determines dimensions of the individual's wrist on the member 5, a motorized roller 7 coiled with a strap 6 for unwrapping/wrapping the strap 6, a robotic arm 8 grip ends of the strap 6, and a motorized blade 9 for cutting the strap 6 after fastening the strap 6 on the individual's wrist as per the user-desired operation."
