MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013486 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'adaptable sleep assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Amandeep Kaur.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adaptable sleep assistive device, comprising an elongated body 1 fabricated with an inflatable layer 2 for providing cushioning to user's head, an inverted U-shaped member 3 arranged over the body 1 for covering user's head, an imaging unit 4 installed on the member 3 determining forehead portion of user, a FBG sensor 5 integrated on the body 1 detecting user's health parameters, plurality of LEDs (light emitting diode) 6 arranged on the member 3 illuminating lights to reduce stress of user, a speaker 7 integrated on the body 1 playing soothing sound and a screen 8 integrated on the member 3 displaying user-specified wake-up time."
