MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013536 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'adaptable soil nailing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. P Srinivasa Rao.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adaptable soil nailing device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, an imaging unit 2 arranged on the platform 1 determining area of the surface to be drilled, a body 3 arranged on the platform 1, by means of a pair of hydraulic actuators 4 to extend/retract the body 3 as required, a compressor-based drilling unit 5 arranged on the body 3 to perform drilling on the surface, a pair of robotic arms 6 installed on the body 3 gripping nail rod from a storage chamber 7 arranged on the platform 1 and a speaker 8 integrated on the body 3 notifying user regarding presence of living organisms in the surface while drilling."
